Jun 03,  · Led Zeppelin III is a classic album. Jimmy Page has done a great job restoring this album like he has with all the Led Zeppelin albums. Led Zeppelin III was released between 2 of the greatest rock albums ever; Led Zeppelin II and IV. It is over-shadowed by them, but is still a great album/5(K).

Overall though, the CD package does not come close to the high quality of my old (and dearly departed) vinyl LP. Unfortunately, Led Zeppelin III does not receive the acclaim of albums such as II () and IV (), which is too bad. It seems to me that this excellent album would offer a lot to the Led Zeppelin fan; both casual and hardcore alike/5().

“Gallows Pole” updates a traditional tune with a menacing flair, and “Bron-Y-Aur Stomp” is an infectious acoustic romp, while “That’s the Way” and “Tangerine” are shimmering songs with graceful country flourishes.

Jun 18,  · Encompassing heavy metal, folk, pure rock & roll, and blues, Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth album is a monolithic record, defining not only Led Zeppelin but the sound and style of ’70s hard rock. Expanding on the breakthroughs of III, Zeppelin fuse their majestic hard rock with a mystical, rural English folk that gives the record an epic scope.
